Nice hotel in a good location
Smart hotel in a good location, comfortable room in a nicely decorated hotel. Tea/coffee in the room.
Reception and breakfast area is too small when busy. Cooked breakfast was cold although when pointed out it appeared the hot plates were not working. Shower was ok at best.

A good place to stay
Very friendly staff, good location and pretty good breakfast. It's great that you can leave your luggage in a luggage room and borrow an umbrella.

What was the highlight of Heimen Hotel
Good location in Bergen with very nice staff, but somewhat outdated infrastructure.
Location, a close walk to the entertainment part of the city but not right into it, and the staff, especially Kim and Maria at the reception. The breakfast is very good.
The walk in shower was simple and didn’t close well, soaking the floor in the bathroom. Unfortunately, no cleaning service unless one stays 3 nights, but it was hard to get the soaked towels, used to dry the floor, replaced. The temperature could not be brought below 24.5 degrees, it is centrally managed and three people tried to adjust the settings, without success. Breakfast is served in an area with all tables very close together, which makes it hard not to overhear two separate conversations from other guests.

Good value for money.
Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable. Staff very friendly.
Lift broken and as we were on the 5th floor (and aged 59 and 68) not great as we had to climb up all the stairs. Room too hot.
